Minister of Housing Construction and Water Supply Dr. Susil Ranasinghe, Deputy Minister T. B. Sarath, and the Secretary to the Ministry, Eng. Kumudulal Bowahawatta, visited the National Housing Development Authority on 17 November for an inspection tour. This was their first visit to the Authority following their assumption of duties in their new positions.

During the visit, discussions were held on the progress of the National Housing Development Authority, the institution’s vision, and its future work plan. In addition, attention was given to existing employee issues, and a meeting with the entire staff was conducted.

A group of officials from the Ministry, together with the Chairman of the National Housing Development Authority, Aravinda Sirinatha, the General Manager, Eng. K. A. Janaka, members of the senior management, district managers, and other staff members, also participated in the occasion.
