Under the "A Home for You – A Tomorrow for the Nation" housing assistance project implemented by the

Under the "A Home for You – A Tomorrow for the Nation" housing assistance project implemented by the National Housing Development Authority, financial assistance amounting to one million rupees was granted for the construction of a new house for Mrs. Pushpa Irangani, a resident of the Palatiyawa area in the Dimbulagala Divisional Secretariat Division.

The commencement of the construction of the new house took place today under the patronage of the Deputy Minister of Housing, Hon. T.B. Sarath. The event was also attended by the District Manager of the National Housing Development Authority, Mr. C.J. Tennakoon, Development Manager Mr. Lal Munasinghe, the Chairman of the Dimbulagala Pradeshiya Sabha, and several other members of the local council.
