The National Housing Development Authority's first quarter progress review workshop of this year was held last weekend in Kandy

The National Housing Development Authority's first quarter progress review workshop of this year was held last weekend in Kandy under the chairmanship of Chairman Mr. Rajiv Suriyarachchi.

    All the District Managers participated in this event and all the senior officers of the Divisions representing the Head Office participated.

  The chairman made his comments by starting the workshop. Almost two years have passed since the current management was appointed. During that period, all the officers of the authority have the freedom to perform their duties legally without political pressure and the main aspiration of the entire staff is to carry out those duties honestly and professionally and fulfill public expectations. The chairman pointed out that it should be. Even now, all the workers' unions have unanimously given unconditional support to the program carried out by him and the board of directors. The chairman specially emphasized that the district offices and their managers who have reached the desired target in the first quarter received special evaluation from the chairman.

   For this occasion, a group of senior officials including Mr. Lakshman Gunawardena, Board of Directors members, President's Advocate Weeraratne, Lawyer Tissa Jayawardena, Gavesha Saniratne, Engineer Vanniarachchi, Consultant Retired Superintendent of Police Mr. Jayaratne and General Manager Engineer KA Janaka participated.
